Our fishes
Our herbivorous fishes

Carp
(Cyprinus carpio)
It is the best-known and most economically significant native fish of the Carpathian Basin. It occurs in almost all domestic stagnant and flowing waters. It reaches market size at the age of 3 summers, in our farm you you can find all sizes of all ages, from pre-grown size to capital specimens.

Amur or grass carp
(Ctenopharyngodon idella)
It entered the waters of our country from the Amur River in the Far East in 1963. Thanks to its tasty meat and its role in the maintenance of lakes overgrown with aquatic plants, it quickly spread and is of great economic importance, not least as an excellent fishing fish. It also plays an important role in our lakes by keeping reeds and sedges under control. Most of them are sold at the age of 2 and 3 years, but there are also specimens weighing over 10 kg.

Breams
(Abramis)
Among our native species of breams the bream (Abramis brama), the roach (Rutilus rutilus), the common rudd (Scardinius erythrophthalmus) are found in our lakes. With the cessation of natural water fishing, it has become a scarce commodity, and due to its increased price, it is of increasing economic importance.

Tench
(Tinca tinca)
One of our most beautiful fishes! It tolerates harsh conditions well, but can hardly prevail with carp, so it is not of great economic importance in domestic fish farming.

Prussian carp
(Carassius auratus gibelio)
Its homeland is East Asia, from where it gradually spread throughout Europe. Thanks to its asexual reproduction and good resistance, we cannot eradicate it from our ponds either. But once it is here, it serves as a great food fish for our predators, and in larger sizes it is also suitable for eating purposes.
Our predatory fishes

Pike
(Esox lucius)
Our native, widespread predatory fish. Thanks to its varied, greenish pattern, it blends in well with the aquatic plants that provide cover and pounces on almost anything that moves. It has good growth potential, is more voracious than perch and is less sensitive to environmental conditions, which is why it is a common species in our lakes, which we sell at the age of 2-3-year-old.

Wels catfish
(Silurus glanis)
Our predator with large, tasty, boneless meat. Due to its huge size and gluttony, it is not popular with all anglers, but it is also constantly present on the ice counter of fish shops and in our lake farm. We usually sell it in market size, between 3-6 kg.
